<p class="large" style="text-align:justify">The Crypteia, also referred to as Krypteia or Krupteia (Greek: κρυπτεία krupteía from κρυπτός kruptós, "hidden, secret"), was an ancient Spartan state institution, operationally akin to a covert military unit. </p>
<p class="large" style="text-align:justify">Comprised of the most capable and intelligent young men, the Crypteia was formed of volunteers who underwent rigorous and unforgiving preparation for missions demanding discipline, discretion, and absolute commitment in service to the state - a role considered both honourable and necessary.</p>
<p class="large" style="text-align:justify">Crypteia Consulting Ltd was founded out of a similar sense of service and commitment, applying operational UKSF experience and strategic insight to the complex defence and security challenges of the modern age.</p>
